We recommend that you make the most of the services available to you at the surgery. The Practice advises all patients between 16 and 75 years of age who have not attended the surgery within the past 3 years to make an appointment for a health check. Advice and information on the Web.
We understand that at times, things can go wrong. If you have any issues about our service that you wish to discuss, then please follow our practice complaints procedure by writing to our Practice Manager in the first instance. We undertake to handle and resolve problems as quickly and fairly as possible. A booklet with full details of our complaints procedure is available from Reception.
The Practice has a policy with regards to abusive and violent behaviour towards its doctors and staff, which may result in removal from the Practice list.
Copies of our procedures and policies together with income and prescribing expenditure, is available for inspection under the Freedom of Information Act.
All persons employed by, or contracted to the surgery, or any person who is given access to your medical records will be subject to a duty of confidentiality. You have the right to object to such disclosures.
The practice is registered under the Data Protection Act 1984. The act applies particularly to information which is stored on computer and anyone revealing this information without authority is liable to prosecution. Information is now protected by law and it is our responsibility to help protect it.
